A LITTLE ABOUT CANTER

Canter Coffee came from two things I've always loved: horses and really good coffee.

I've spent a good chunk of my life around horses, from competing in three-day eventing to riding across different parts of the world. Somewhere along the way, I ended up living in New Zealand, spending my days riding horses, working in a café, and falling even more in love with coffee and baking. Not a bad way to spend your twenties.

Fast forward a few years, and I found myself dreaming up a way to bring those two worlds together.

In August 2023, after a whole lot of hard work renovating an old Golden Falcon camper with my husband, Canter Coffee officially opened its little window in Sunderland.

What started as one coffee trailer has since grown into two locations, an incredible team, and a community that continues to blow me away.

At the end of the day, Canter has always been about more than just coffee. It's about creating something special in the little towns we call home, bringing people together, and hopefully making someone's day a little better along the way.
